The main shrine of the Khan's Palace in Bakhchisaray reopened


The Great Khan's Khan Jami Mosque has reopened its doors to visitors in Bakhchisaray. The object is considered the main shrine of the Khan's palace, the press service of the Crimean tour portal reported on Wednesday, January 22.
The mosque was closed for restoration, writes IA SevastopolMedia. Thanks to the repair of the facade and interior decoration, the monument managed to restore its original beauty and grandeur.
Believers and tourists will be able to admire the renovated minarets, see the preserved original inscriptions in Arabic of the XVIII century and appreciate the reconstructed interior of this historic structure.
Earlier in January it was reported that the infrastructure in the historical center of Bakhchisarai will be improved. The authorities plan to build a water pipeline and upgrade the road surface on several streets.
