Since the start of additional registration of participants in the program "Time of Heroes" more than 20 thousand applications have been received. This was reported in the press service of the program on January 22.

"Since the beginning of additional registration of selection participants in the program "Time of Heroes" more than 20 thousand people have been registered. The total number of applications for selection to the program amounted to almost 65 thousand," - noted in the Telegram-channel.

Additional registration will end on January 25 at 12:00 Moscow time. The results of the selection will be known after the processing of all applications.

At the moment, according to the press service, 18 participants of the first stream of the program have received appointments to leading positions. Among them are Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Urals Federal District Artem Zhoga, the head of the Tambov region Evgeny Pervyshov, and the head of the "Movement of the First" Artur Orlov. A number of other participants of the program are preparing to move to new places of work.

Earlier, on December 28, a participant of "Time of Heroes", holder of two Orders of Courage Alexander Shlyapnikov was appointed deputy governor of Kaluga region. The head of the region Vladislav Shapsha emphasized that the professional qualities and experience of the program participant are necessary to solve a number of tasks facing the region. He also stated that work on the regional analog of the "Time of Heroes" will begin in 2025.

The launch of the "Time of Heroes" program was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the Federal Assembly on February 29, 2024. The Russian leader specified that the participants of special operations will be given the opportunity to enter leading universities and get a civilian specialty as a priority.

The "Time of Heroes" personnel program is aimed at training leaders to work in state and municipal authorities from the participants of the special operation in Ukraine.
