About 2.5 million rubles will be allocated for the atlas of Perm

Perm will print a city atlas - a souvenir book containing information about the history, geography and meteorology of the capital of the Perm Region.

The authorities are ready to allocate about 2.5 million rubles for this purpose. This is the maximum value of the contract. The document specifies that the souvenir book should be published in hardcover in the amount of 800 copies. 500 pieces should be in gift wrapping, writes Ura.ru news agency.

The atlas was developed by scientists of the Perm Classical University. The publication was presented at the All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Digital Geography".

Earlier it was reported about the return of a huge scarab beetle created from car tires to the Perm Garden of Stones. This art object was installed in 2011 as part of the cultural revolution, but later it was taken away for restoration. It was created by Kazakh artist Moldakul Narymbetov. The sculpture made of car tires depicts a beetle rolling a huge black ball in front of it.
