Primary parsing: companies will be able to study the applications of target training applicants

Customers of targeted training will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the submitted applications of applicants before enrolling in training. This was reported in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova following a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the restoration of the labor market. How this will affect the employment of graduates and what professions will be most in demand in the coming years, "Izvestia" analyzed.
Situation on the market
The list of the most in-demand professions in 2025 will not differ much from last year's list, Natalia Danina, chief labor market expert at hh.ru, told Izvestia.
- The professions in high demand today are divided into several groups: mass (mainly in retail, logistics, catering), labor and production, as well as IT-specialties with interaction with AI and other trending technologies, - she noted. - The first two groups account for two thirds of all open vacancies in the country, and it is in them that the main shortage of personnel is concentrated. In these groups of in-demand professions, competition for jobs for the second year in a row is kept to a minimum - less than four active resumes per vacancy.
According to her, the first three most demanded professions in the market are also stable for the second year in a row, and there is a high probability of maintaining this composition by the end of 2025 - sales manager, sales consultant (cashier) and driver.
- Further in the top ten by the results of the last year there were a number of changes: workers and production specialties, as well as professions in warehouse logistics significantly displaced the "classical" qualified specialties (accountants, doctors, lawyers, etc.) by the level of demand. At the end of 2025, we can most likely expect to see blue-collar occupations consolidating their positions among the professions in high demand," she said.
Traditionally promising areas are IT and engineering specialties. The demand is only growing, and it will remain so next year. The likely decline in demand may be influenced by the introduction of automation and drone technologies, productivity growth, lower turnover, and the effectiveness of employee retention programs, but in reality, the labor market is only at the beginning of this journey, and these factors are unlikely to have a massive impact in 2025.
- A massive influx of labor into these professions, which is also unlikely to occur during 2025, will not reduce demand, but may only alleviate the shortage," Natalia Danina noted.
Imperfect system
First of all, the changes will allow for a clearer and more efficient target admission, as universities and customers will be able to more quickly receive correct information in connection with the double check of applicants who responded to offers posted on the platform "Work in Russia," said "Izvestia" head of the department for organizing the admission of applicants at the State University of Management Vadim Dikikhikh. In addition, it will allow applicants and customers of targeted training to solve various issues, get feedback even before enrollment, during the admission campaign.
The existing practice of choosing a profession by schoolchildren today consists of two stages: first, young men and women decide on the educational organization where they will continue their education, and then they choose a specific job during vocational training. It is obvious that in such a system of professional self-determination mistakes are almost inevitable, Vladimir Blinov, Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Education Development of the Higher School of Public Administration of the Presidential Academy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, told Izvestia.
- The program of professional education is actually chosen by people who have no clear ideas about their future profession, working conditions, salary level and other criteria," he said. - A college or university attracts by its name, the opinion of acquaintances who study there, as well as the prestige of the educational organization and many other factors. All this becomes a reason for students to change their professional preferences directly in the process of education. As a result, there is a high proportion of cases of employment not in the specialty.
Now the total percentage of employed graduates of universities and colleges without specifying qualifications is taken into account. Such important indicators as the correspondence of qualifications for the first job obtained in the vocational education system and the retention of graduates in the workplace are often not recorded. Employment statistics look acceptable as long as these important details are not considered.
- There are no precise data on the share of students employed outside their specialty in official statistics, but the results of many private surveys suggest that this figure is quite significant," the expert noted. - In fact, quite a high amount of public funds for vocational education of young people is not spent in a targeted manner, or rather not exactly for the purposes for which these financial resources were supposed to be directed.
Actual information
Modern vocational guidance assumes that it is necessary to ensure the choice of a profession, a specific workplace of a person, not a college or university. Schoolchildren and parents should be acquainted with professions, with the conditions of these or those productions, and not to agitate for admission to professional educational organizations. Naturally, such a task cannot be accomplished without the participation of employers.
- Students in grades six through eight should receive reliable and attractive information about specific jobs in demand in their region. Ninth-graders should have information about opportunities and conditions of targeted training in the system of secondary vocational education. High school graduates intending to enter higher education institutions should also be armed with information about targeted enrollment, - emphasized Vladimir Blinov.
The proposed measure, aimed at ensuring that potential employers can familiarize themselves with their future employees, is a serious step towards the development of effective forms of professional orientation.
- The digital resource "Work of Russia" is a good help to all career guidance specialists, but experience suggests that it is necessary to activate the pedagogical resources of the school, to expand and concretize career guidance tasks. Vocational guidance of children is an important part of their upbringing, as it ensures the process of professional self-identification of the individual, without which productive socialization and self-realization of a person, in principle, is impossible, - the expert believes.
According to him, the modern world offers the new generation a wide range of opportunities for professional self-realization. In recent years, dozens of new professions have appeared in the field of information technology, transportation, communication and manufacturing.
- It is obvious that the absolute majority of these new qualifications are based on scientific and mathematical knowledge. The development of additive technologies in the broadest spectrum - from microelectronics to construction, unmanned air, land and water transportation technologies, digital technologies, modern agro- and biotechnologies - creates a wide field of new qualifications and jobs that today's schoolchildren will occupy. It is very important that their career trajectories be as direct as possible, so that our children do not waste the time of their lives," says Vladimir Blinov.
The Ministry of Education and Science redirected Izvestia's inquiry to the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education, but no answers had been received by the time of publication.
