Forecasters predicted light snow and icy conditions in Moscow on January 22

Cloudy, light snow, in some places moderate, icy - such weather expects residents of the capital region on Wednesday, January 22. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from -4 to -2 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to -5.

In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -7 to -2 degrees, and at night the temperature may fall to -8.

A southeast wind with a speed of 7-12 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 756 mm of mercury column.

Earlier, on January 21, the head of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov said that this week in Moscow can expect winter weather. The thaw will recede, a little snow will appear. However, from January 23, the temperature is expected to rise again, and a slight frost will last only a couple of days.

Before that, on January 20, leading specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatyana Pozdnyakova told "Izvestia" that practically the whole week the capital region will be in the zone of increased atmospheric pressure, and such sunny weather as was observed the day before is not expected.
