The first stage of landscaping of territories near the Kuskovo MDC-4 stations was completed

Specialists have completed the first stage of landscaping of territories near the MCD-4 station "Kuskovo" in the east of Moscow. This was reported on Tuesday, January 21, by Deputy Mayor of the capital on housing and public utilities and landscaping Pyotr Biryukov.

According to him, the main task was to improve transport and pedestrian accessibility of the station, as well as to organize convenient approaches and entrances to it, to create conditions for a quick transfer from ground transport to MCD trains, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

Specialists in the course of works expanded sidewalks, replaced on them the covering with a total area of more than 12 thousand square meters. m. They also installed five modern pavilions with charging slots, installed about 130 lanterns with energy-saving lamps.

The second stage of territory improvement in the area of the station MCD-4 "Kuskovo" provides creation of a sports cluster on the place of demolished garages on Novoteterki Street. A skatepark, a jump track, volleyball and streetball courts will be set up there, RT writes.

On January 13, it became known that specialists have also finished the first stage of landscaping near another station of MCD-4 "Serp and Molot". In the course of works overhead lines were removed underground, it provided safe operation of communications and improved the visual appearance of the space, reports "Moscow 24".

In December, the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin opened a highway tunnel under the tracks of MCD-4, connecting Dvintsev Street in Maryina Roshcha district and Skladochnaya Street in Butyrsky district. It has improved transportation accessibility for more than 130 thousand Muscovites, writes NSN.

Also in December it was reported that the bridge-concourse at the station MCD-4 in Balashikha will open in 2025. Residents will be able to use it for a transit crossing over the railroad tracks - it will connect Oktyabrskaya and Proletarskaya streets in the Zheleznodorozhny microdistrict, reports 360.ru.
