SKA defeated Lokomotiv and broke a four-game losing streak in the KHL
In the regular season 2024/25 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) match SKA from St. Petersburg beat Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey club (HC) 5-2 and broke a four-game losing streak. The meeting took place on January 21.
Zakhar Bardakov, Ivan Demidov, Alexander Nikishin, Sergei Plotnikov and Arseniy Gritsyuk scored for the winners. Maxim Berezkin and Maxim Shalunov scored for the Yaroslavl team.
SKA moved up to sixth place in the KHL Western Conference table, while Lokomotiv broke its six-game winning streak, but remains in first place.
Earlier, on January 19, CSKA defeated Sibir by shootout in the regular KHL championship with a score of 4:3. After the victory, the Moscow club moved into second place in the Western Conference standings.
