With the support of Moscow, exporters presented their goods in 19 countries


Moscow entrepreneurs with the support of the city took part in 30 foreign business missions and 17 international exhibitions last year. This was told by Deputy Mayor of the Russian capital Natalia Sergunina.
"Last year, Moscow exporters participated in specialized events in 19 countries, for example, in Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Egypt. They presented their projects in information technology, cinema, video games, fashion, tourism, equipment manufacturing and food production," Sergunina said.
In particular, the capital's brands presented innovative developments at the forum Bengaluru Tech Summit in India, electronics and IT solutions within the framework of "TIBO-2024" in Belarus, cosmetic products at Shanghai International Personal Care Expo in China.
As Sergunina noted, representatives of Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, South Africa, Qatar and other countries visited the Russian capital with return visits. In total for a year city businessmen held about 30 thousand meetings with potential partners.
Participation of the capital's entrepreneurs in foreign business missions and presentations at the collective stand Made in Moscow at international exhibitions for more than 600 companies was organized by the Moscow Export Center (MEC). Thanks to this, 264 contracts worth over 4.2 billion rubles were concluded. In total, in 2024, with the assistance of the MEC, the capital's companies concluded contracts worth more than 26 billion rubles, compared to the previous year, this figure increased by more than a third.
Also last year, the Russian capital hosted a number of major international events. These included the Cloud Cities forum dedicated to the future of BRICS megacities, the BRICS+ Fashion Summit fashion forum, the Moscow International Publishing Week and the Moscow International Creative Industries Week.
