Demand for instant print cameras has increased by 35% in Russia, analysts of the state labeling system "Honest Mark" told Izvestia.

This came after a significant decline in 2022, when sales fell by 38% compared to 2021.

"In 2024, sales of such devices grew by 35% compared to 2022 and by 33% relative to 2023. Growing demand has spurred supply in the market. In 2024, 116.7 thousand units were in circulation, which is 26.4% more than a year earlier, when this show was at 92.3 thousand," - told in CRPT.

As it turned out, all instant print cameras, presented in Russia, are imported. The share of EAEU countries accounted for 12% of deliveries, and for the year their volume increased 2.6 times, to 13.7 thousand pieces. Deliveries from other countries increased by 18%, reaching 103 thousand units.

"Sales of such photographic equipment are growing due to several reasons. Firstly, the fashion for lomography is gradually returning, and more and more Russians choose instant print cameras as gifts, especially for the New Year - for the second year in a row December is the peak month of sales. Secondly, thanks to the expansion of the range, prices are coming down. In 2022, when there was the minimum demand for the last four years, the average price of one device was 20.6 thousand rubles. At the end of 2024, it decreased by 21.6%, to 16.2 thousand rubles," explained "Izvestia" deputy general director of CRPT (operator of the state labeling system "Honest Sign" Revaz Yusupov.

The most popular brands of instant print cameras in 2024 are Fujifilm (69.8%), Attivio (8.8%), Photokidsprint (7.0%), Kodak (2.4%) and Wild Star (1.7%). Among regions, Moscow became the sales leader with a 23.6% share. The capital is followed by St. Petersburg (11.1%), Moscow Region (6.0%), Krasnodar Territory (5.1%) and Primorsky Territory (2.7%).

Earlier in the day it became known that the most expensive fur coat in Russia was purchased for 34 million rubles. According to the Center for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDAT, the operator of the state labeling system), on average, Russians bought fur products for Br82.4 thousand.
