Slovak Prime Minister Fitzo said that the opposition is preparing a "Maidan"

The Slovak opposition is preparing for a "Maidan". This was stated by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo at a joint press conference with his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban on January 21.
He specified that the information was received by Slovak counterintelligence, which discovered a long organized operation aimed at destabilizing the situation in the country.
"I can't name names, I can't name circumstances, but I can say with all seriousness that the Slovak opposition is preparing for a 'Maidan'," he said, the broadcast of the event was published on SME's YouTube channel.
Fitzo specified that the opposition forces intend to occupy government buildings, obstruct the work of the Cabinet of Ministers and interact with foreign structures.
Earlier, on January 19, Fitzo said that the opposition party "Progressive Slovakia" is seeking a coup d'état in the country on the Ukrainian scenario. According to him, the republic is preparing for everything, especially for a "Maidan."
On the same day, the Slovak prime minister also said that he was not going to be a servant of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term of office expired on May 20, 2024), and also announced his readiness to veto financial aid to the Kiev regime from the European Union (EU) because of the refusal of gas transit from Russia.
"Gazprom said it would suspend gas supplies through Ukraine on January 1, 2025. On the same day, Fitzo noted that this would have drastic consequences for the EU, but not for Russia.
