Five houses in Norilsk were left without electricity due to a raccoon that got into the transformer substation. This was reported by the management company "ZhKS-Norilsk" in Telegram-channel on January 20.

"Last Saturday at once in five Norilsk houses the light went out. The reason - a raccoon got into the transformer substation", - stated in the message.

It is specified that while the employees who service the substation tried to catch the animal, residents of houses could not understand the reason for the lack of light. As a result, the raccoon was able to catch and safely returned to the owner.

Earlier, on January 5, as a result of an emergency power outage at a substation in Krasnodar Krai, the city of Apsheronsk, Kuban rural and Neftegorsk urban settlements were left without light. The cause of the accident was a short circuit.
