The third Belgee model from the Belarusian car plant may appear in Russia

In the second half of 2025 in Russia is expected to start sales of sedan Belgee S50, which is based on the Chinese Geely Emgrand and is already on sale in Belarus. This was reported on January 21 by the portal "Chinese cars".

Belgee S50 was first presented at the "Motor Show 2024" in Minsk in October last year. Then General Director of Belgee automobile plant Gennady Sviderski said that the sedan would soon go into mass production.

In November, the first copies of the S50 began to appear at Belarusian dealers. The model costs Br57.6-67.8 thousand (Br1.75-2.1 million Russian rubles). It is noted that the price of the Belgee S50 in Belarus is completely the same as the Geely Emgrand for the local market. In Russia, the latter costs 2.18-2.66 million rubles.

The length of the Belgee S50 is 4638 mm with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. The car is equipped with a one and a half liter atmospheric engine with an output of 122 hp, with which works a five-speed manual or a classic six-speed "automatic".

Earlier, January 13, it was reported that the Belarusian plant " Belgee" has assembled 64.4 thousand Belgee cars from the start of production in 2023 to the end of 2024. Of these, 59.3 thousand cars were produced last year. The first Belgee model on the Russian market in 2024 was an urban crossover X50 (Geely Coolray). At the end of summer, the crossover X70 (Geely Atlas Pro) entered the market.
