On January 21, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed readiness to nominate U.S. leader Donald Trump for the Nobel Prize if he can end world conflicts, as he has repeatedly promised in his speeches.

"If you are a peacemaker, work to ensure that there are no wars. That's what you can do. Because Americans have always started these wars. Or pushed for wars. If you do it, you want to be a Nobel laureate, - we'll support you too, we'll present you," he said while communicating with the workers of Minsk Automobile Plant. His words are quoted by BelTA agency.

According to him, Trump is well aware that besides Americans, there are about 200 peoples in the world, who also want to live well. The states have recently behaved very badly, said Lukashenko.

Also, the Belarusian leader noted that the United States will no longer be able to ensure its solitary world domination.

Earlier, November 7 last year, the president of Belarus has already stated his readiness to nominate Trump for the Nobel Prize, in case the American politician succeeds in ending all wars.

After winning the presidential election in November, Trump, speaking to supporters, called himself the 47th president of the United States and said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world.

His inauguration took place on January 20, 2025. In his speech at the Capitol, he said that the strength of the United States would make it possible to "end all wars" and ensure unity in the world. In addition, he repeatedly said that if he won the election, he would be able to end the Ukrainian conflict in 24 hours.
