In Japan, a mother and grandfather were arrested for child abuse

A 26-year-old woman and her 52-year-old father have been arrested in Japan for violent treatment of a three-year-old child. This was reported on January 21 by NHK television and radio company.

It was reported that in September last year, the grandfather taped his grandson's mouth with duct tape, wrapped the boy's hands and feet with it and kept him in a cardboard box. The mother and grandfather later brought the child to the hospital in serious condition and unconscious.

Police are suggesting the possibility that the child was abused on a daily basis. It is specified that during the police investigation, the man and the woman pleaded guilty.

Earlier, on January 12, in the Krasnodar region, a mother of many children was accused of beating her three-year-old son. The child's aunt Yulia Yudnikova told "Izvestia" that, having come to visit a family with three children, she noticed multiple marks of beatings on the body of one of the boys.
