The Defense Ministry reported the defeat of an energy facility in Ukraine

The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) have hit an energy facility in Ukraine that supplies the country's military-industrial complex (MIC) enterprises. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on 21 January.
It is specified that the strike was carried out with the help of operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile forces and artillery.
In addition, the Russian army struck the enemy's accumulations of manpower and equipment in 148 areas. In addition, the air defense means shot down four French Hammer guided bombs, six US-made HIMARS MLRS shells and 156 aircraft-type drones, including 55 outside the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.
The Defense Ministry noted that in total, the Russian army has destroyed more than 30,000 Ukrainian military vehicles since the start of hostilities.
On the same day, UAV operators of the Vostok group of troops destroyed self-propelled artillery installations of the AFU in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). In addition, Russian scouts, supporting the advance of assault units deep into the defense of Ukrainian formations, identified and hit a tank, two armored combat vehicles, engineering equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian army.
The special operation to defend Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
