Musk accused Democrats of dirty tricks after showing 'Nazi cheers'
American entrepreneur and head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Ilon Musk, who showed a gesture resembling a Nazi salute at the inauguration of the President of the United States, Republican Donald Trump, accused Democratic Party officials of using dirty tricks on January 21.
"Frankly, they need more effective dirty tricks. Attacks in the spirit of 'you're all Hitlers' are so tiresome," Musk noted in his account in the social network X (former Twitter).
To his publication, the businessman attached one of his old posts, in which he noted that the Democrats, apparently, will start a black PR-campaign against him for his defection to the Republican Party.
Before that, on January 20, it was reported that Musk showed a gesture similar to a Nazi greeting at Trump's inauguration. He noted that he wanted to thank those gathered for making the re-election of the American leader possible. After that, Trump's advisor hit himself with his right hand in the chest and then raised it upward diagonally.
Earlier, on January 22, 2024, Ilon Musk, who has been accused of anti-Semitism, visited with his son a museum at the site of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz (Auschwitz) in Poland. He admitted that until recently he was "naive" about the extent of anti-Semitism, saying it was because most of his friends were Jewish and he had little contact with them in his life.
