In Khabarovsk Krai, more than 70 public areas are to be improved in 2025. They were chosen by the region's residents themselves as part of the all-Russian voting.

These areas include embankments, squares, parks and public gardens. The works will take place within the framework of the federal project "Formation of Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

For these purposes 365 million rubles will be allocated, the most part (354 million rubles) the region will receive from the federal budget.

As the AmurMedia news agency was told in the regional Ministry of Housing and Utilities, the projects in urban agglomerations became the undisputed leaders in public voting. For example, about 10 thousand people voted for the transformation of the public garden on Krasnorechensky Lane in Khabarovsk, and about 7 thousand people voted for the public garden on Rudneva Street.

The department informed that by April 1, all municipalities applying for a subsidy, must sign contracts and begin work on the improvement. They must be completed by the end of the year. Governor Dmitry Demeshin urged to purchase materials for repair from regional manufacturers.

In the press service of the Governor and the regional government recalled that from 2019 to 2024 the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" was implemented through the national project "Housing and urban environment". During this time in Khabarovsk Krai was improved 661 public spaces.

They will send their applications to the Russian Ministry of Construction. The region will participate in the contest with 15 projects totaling about 2 billion rubles.
