A criminal case has been opened in Kazan over the death of a child born in 2023 in a private medical center. This was reported on January 21 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on January 20.

A criminal case under Part 2 Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence due to improper performance of professional duties by a person") has been initiated.

It is noted that the necessary checks are carried out to clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as appointed expertise.
