Moscow cafes and restaurants took part in the collection of aid for fighters participating in the special military operation (SMO). This was reported in the press service of the mayor of the capital on January 21.

"Among the parcels you can find cereals, canned food and much more, such as tea and sugar. Thanks to the purchase of a large number of products directly from suppliers, businessmen collect humanitarian cargoes weighing several hundred kilograms," the message said.

For example, in the Southern Administrative District of the capital for the delivery of humanitarian goods united three institutions. Together they handed over rice, buckwheat, peas, pasta, more than 250 jars of pate and canned food, about 100 packages of tea, 200 packs of cookies and 150 kg of sugar.

Cafes from districts such as Chertanovo Yuzhnoye and Nagatino-Sadovniki donated 250 kilograms of food and 200 ready-to-eat dinners to the SWO zone.

Earlier, on December 26 last year, Moscow sports schools told about the support of SWO participants. Thus, the Moscow Figure Skating Academy sent camouflage nets and evacuation carts to the front.
