The renovation of school No. 1566 in Moscow will be completed by September 1

The renovation of the building of school No. 1566 in Maryino district will be completed in Moscow by September 1. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on Monday, January 20.

During the inspection of repair works the official noted that many schools had not been reconstructed for 30-50 years. In this regard, the authorities have decided to reconstruct and run under renovation three school buildings in Maryino district. In school № 1566 all works are planned to be completed in July, specifies NSN.

The educational institution for 550 pupils was built in 1995. Recently it has been used at about 50% of the design capacity, writes "Moscow 24". In the course of modernization specialists will renew the facade and roof of the school, replace the engineering communications, door and window blocks, make interior decoration, equip the assembly hall for school events, lectures and exhibitions, sports halls, media library, as well as a dining hall, reports the website kp.ru.

In addition, the school yard will be landscaped, there will open updated sites for basketball, volleyball and mini-football, areas with fitness equipment, a zone of vorkout and passing the TRP standards, areas for recreation, as well as places for parking bicycles and scooters, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".

The mayor pointed out that the possibilities of the school after the reconstruction will allow to hold on its basis competitions in 3D-modeling, robotics and programming. The renovated building is designed for 7-11th grades, including advanced study of information technologies and natural sciences, RT writes.
