Igora Drive Autodrome will host the Russia-Northern Forest Baja in February
Autodrome "Igora Drive" in the Leningrad region from February 7 to 9 will host a rally-raid - baja (off-road racing) "Russia - Northern Forest" on snow and ice, which this year will unite automobile and motorcycle sports on one site. This is stated in the message "Igora Drive" on January 20.
The race will be held in two statuses - the first stage of the Russian Rally-Raid Championship and the All-Russian motorcycle rally competition. The format of the competition will remain unchanged.
"In 2025, the organizers have redesigned the route - most of the race will take place on high-speed sections that have never been used before as part of the Russia-Northern Forest Baja." Crews in cars will have to pass about 400 kilometers on special sections, which are laid in Priozersky and Vyborgsky districts of the Leningrad region. The length of the race for athletes on motorcycles is less - about 120 km, but the special stages will also be distributed over all three competition days", - stated in the message.
After summarizing the results of all the races, the awarding of winners and prize-winners of the rally-raid "Russia - Northern Forest" will take place.
Earlier, on September 30, the first season of the Moscow Cup on historical rally ended in the capital. 150 crews from 20 Russian cities took part in the debut season. The winner of the Cup was the crew that took the first place on the sum of three stages. The winners were Dmitry and Veronika Patoka driving a Moskvich-403 car 1964 edition. They received the main trophy - the Transition Cup of Moscow.
