U.S. President-elect Donald Trump plans to sign 11 executive orders related to borders immediately after the inauguration ceremony, including an order on the deployment of troops on the southern border of the country. This was reported by Reuters on January 20 with reference to Fox News TV channel.

The purpose of the decree is to ensure the protection of borders. Thus, the U.S. Northern Command will be responsible for coordination. The Department of Defense of America will be responsible for combining military resources with federal law enforcement agencies and intelligence services to ensure that the operation achieves maximum effectiveness.

In addition, one of the decrees directs the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense to complete the construction of the U.S.-Mexico wall and appoint those responsible for border control.

On the same day, Fox News TV channel reported that Trump is set to sign more than 200 executive orders on the first day of his presidency. The decrees will concern the issues of energy, border and immigration policy. The US president-elect also intends to declare drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

Earlier, January 17, Politico reported that the team of the U.S. President-elect intends to declare a state of emergency to combat illegal migration. It is noted that officials are also developing an executive order to abolish the right to American citizenship by birth. The Trump administration plans to launch raids against migrants the day after the inauguration, The Wall Street Journal added

Trump, then still a presidential candidate, said in his final speech before the Nov. 5 election that migrants were the reason the U.S. was an occupied country. He promised to "save" every city and town that had been "invaded and conquered."

Former United States ambassador to Switzerland Edward McMullen said on Nov. 7 that the Republican was looking for the most competent people to appoint to his administration to combat uncontrolled migration and execute strategies on the economy and foreign policy.
