In St. Petersburg, a man got naked in the church of the Novodevichy Convent

A young man in an inadequate state shocked parishioners of the temple of the Novodevichy Convent in St. Petersburg. He arranged a striptease in front of the altar, reports TV channel "78" on Monday, January 20.

The incident occurred the previous day at noon. An unknown man entered the temple when many believers were celebrating Epiphany. Suddenly he began to undress and show his genitals.

The hooligan was detained. He turned out to be a 33-year-old native of the Chelyabinsk region. An administrative report was drawn up in respect of the attacker and placed in an isolation center. The question of initiation of criminal proceedings is being considered.

Earlier in January "Izvestia" wrote how Russians celebrated the holiday of Epiphany. Despite the absence of frost, and in 2025, millions of believers celebrated Epiphany and took part in bathing.
