Saldo reported about the serious condition of three victims after the AFU shelling of the village of Bekhteri

Three people injured as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian army of the village of Bekhteri in Kherson Region are in a serious condition. This was reported by the Governor of the region Volodymyr Saldo on January 20.

"Among the wounded three people are in very serious condition, including a girl born in 2008. The seriously wounded are being prepared to be sent to medical centers in Crimea," he wrote in Telegram-channel.

In addition, Saldo reported that the site of the shelling is strewn with unexploded cluster munitions, at the moment the territory is being demined.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the village of Bekhteri in the Kherson region earlier in the day. As a result, two people were killed and 25 were injured. According to preliminary data, the AFU used a cluster shell.

Later, the press secretary of the governor of the region, Volodymyr Vasylenko, clarified that the Ukrainian militants struck the territory adjacent to the Bekhteri school.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
