The number of people injured in the shelling of the village of Bekhteri in Kherson Region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has risen to 25 people, including four children. This was reported by the press secretary of the Governor of the region Vladimir Vasilenko on January 20.
"At the moment, the number of injured has risen to 25, including four children," Vasilenko said.
The AFU attacked the village of Bekhteri in the Kherson region earlier in the day. As a result, two people were killed. According to preliminary data, the AFU used a cluster shell.
Later Vasilenko clarified that the Ukrainian militants struck the territory that is adjacent to the Bekhteri school.
Ukrainian militants are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
