Sinomach announced a new automobile brand for Russia

The Chinese concern Sinomach Auto has announced plans to bring cars under a new brand to the Russian market. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on January 20.

It is not specified what exactly this car brand is called. Sinomach now sells cars under the Oting brand in Russia and plans to launch a premium hybrid SUV under the Rox brand early this year.

Sinomach Auto said that the concern has opened a logistics terminal in the Siberian Federal District. It includes a warehouse with the area of 1 thousand square meters for 80 cars, a loading zone that allows loading 12 car carriers simultaneously, and a storage zone that can accommodate up to 2 thousand cars.

Thanks to the new terminal the delivery time to Yekaterinburg, Barnaul, Tyumen will be reduced three times. In total, Russia is provided with three terminals: Khorgos (China), Novosibirsk and Moscow. By the end of 2025, Sinomach Auto in Russia is going to open more than 60 car dealerships in Russia, including both multi-brand and monobrand ones.

Last December 19, Sinomach <a href="https://iz.ru/1810176/2024-12-19/gibridnyi-vnedorozhnik-rox-01-predstavili-v-rossii\" target="_blank">presented a premium SUV Rox 01</a> in Russia. The model will be offered in a seven-seat version priced from 9.17 million rubles and a six-seat version for 9.38 million rubles.</p><p>On October 22, it was reported that Oting plans to introduce a <a href="https://iz.ru/1778319/2024-10-22/v-rossii-predstaviat-analogi-nissan-patrol-i-qashqai" target="_blank">compact crossover and a full-size SUV</a> in Russia. The models will be based on the Nissan Qashqai and Patrol.
