More than a hundred restaurants will be part of the festival "Chinese New Year in Moscow". The same number of restaurants joined the "Moscow Tea Party" project this winter, and another 500 joined the "New Year's Moscow Breakfast" event, said the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his personal blog.

According to him, Moscow catering is experiencing a real boom in popularity. "Compared to the same period last year from December 1, 2024 the average number of visitors to restaurants and cafes has increased by more than 8%," - emphasized the head of the city.

The average check increased by almost 11%, and the revenue of establishments - by 20%.

In addition, this year the number of participants of the contest for the best winter decoration among public catering establishments increased by 20%. According to the results, a people's rating of the most beautifully decorated cafes and restaurants of the capital will be created.
