In the Kherson region, six people were injured in an AFU strike on Bekhteri

Six people, including three children, were injured when the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) struck Bekhter in Kherson Region. This was reported by Senator from the region Igor Kastukevich on January 20.

"The information is still being clarified, but it is already known about three injured children, two guards of the school and the director," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

He said that the victims were sent to hospital to clarify the severity of the injuries. The senator added that if necessary, the children would be transported to Moscow.

Earlier, on January 14, three civilians of the Kherson region were injured in the shelling of the Ukrainian army. The Governor of the region Volodymyr Saldo specified that the victims were hospitalized. He also noted that private houses were damaged as a result of the attacks.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
