Six "Meeting Place" centers opened in Moscow after the reconstruction of cinemas

In Moscow in 2024 opened six district centers of the network "Meeting Place" on the site of Soviet cinemas. This was reported to the agency of city news "Moscow" on Sunday, January 19, by the press service of the Moscow Department of urban policy and construction.

According to the head of the department Vladislav Ovchinsky, at the end of the year opened the district center "Meeting Place Planet". There also opened grocery stores, a consumer services salon, a fitness club. In addition, a VR-club for children and teenagers, a martial arts studio will be opened in the near future, and a CDC for the whole family will start working: it will host developmental classes, meetings and lectures, master classes, presentations and discussion clubs.

Also among the opened district centers - the former Soviet cinemas "Prague", "Orion", "Solntsevo", "Pervomaysky", "Baku", specifies NSN.

Mosgosstroynadzor controls the reconstruction of former cinemas at all stages of the production cycle, writes "Moscow 24".

In March, the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said that the restoration of the movie theater "Udarnik" is planned to be completed by the end of 2027. The movie theater will have modern equipment: there will be a large cinema hall with a transformable stage and several small ones.
