The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of 11 UAVs over the region

Air defense forces have destroyed 11 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of Bryansk region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 19.

"An attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack with the use of UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region has been foiled. Four aircraft-type drones were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Seven minutes later, Bogomaz reported the destruction of seven more drones over the region's territory.

"Seven more aircraft-type drones have been detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry," he added.

According to him, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack. Operational and emergency services are working at the site.

Earlier, on January 18, Bogomaz reported the destruction of the AFU U AV in the Bryansk region. According to him, there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the attack.

Also that day, Bogomaz said that air defense forces destroyed two more drones over the territory of Bryansk region. He specified that there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the attack, emergency services are working on the site.

Before that, on January 18, Bogomaz said that the air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the region. Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the elimination of seven UAVs.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
