Sobyanin announced the start of construction of a new multifunctional complex of the State Clinical Hospital No. 52

In Moscow, the construction of a new multidisciplinary medical complex of the State Clinical Hospital No. 52 has begun, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, the preparatory stage of construction has been completed: "the excavation has been completed, the construction site has been organized".

Sobyanin noted that the building of the center will house departments of surgery, therapy, diagnostics, day hospital, maternity hospital, operating unit, outpatient center, intensive care, nephrology and hemodialysis departments. In total, the complex will have over 670 beds. The outpatient center will be able to serve more than a thousand patients per shift.

The mayor said that the creation of a multifunctional center is a key stage of modernization of the hospital. Earlier, a comprehensive reconstruction of the therapeutic building was carried out in SCB No. 52.
