In Primorsky Krai three people died as a result of a fire in a private house, the cause of which, tentatively, was a short circuit of electrical wiring. This was reported on January 19 in the Emergency Situations Department of Primorsky Krai.

The agency specified that the incident occurred at the railway station Sviyagino on January 19 at 2:00 local time (January 18 19:00 Moscow time).

"At the time of arrival of firefighters, the roof of the house was completely engulfed in flames. In the course of extinguishing the fire, firefighters found in the house the bodies of three people who had died, namely a 55-year-old man and two women, whose identities are being established," reads the message in the Telegram channel.

As a result of the fire there was a collapse of the roof on an area of about 70 square meters. m. According to the results of the inspection, it became known that the ignited house was connected to the power grid unauthorized. This could have caused a short circuit of the electrical wiring, noted in the department.

Earlier, on January 18, one person died and two were injured in a fire in the village of Kharyino in New Moscow. Firefighters extinguished the fire on an area of 150 square meters, rescuers continue to work at the site.
