Cloudiness with clearings, mostly no precipitation and icy conditions - such weather is expected by residents of the capital region on Sunday, January 19. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.
The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from -1 to +1 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to -2.
In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -4 to +1 degrees, and at night the temperature may fall to -5.
A northwest wind with a speed of 6-11 m/s is expected.
Atmospheric pressure will be 746-747 mm of mercury column.
Earlier, on January 18, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that on the baptismal night in Moscow and the region may rise strong wind up to 17 m/s. At the same time on Monday, January 20, the night temperature will be 0 degrees Celsius, in the afternoon its value may rise to +3 degrees Celsius.
