The British military will transit through the Czech Republic to participate in the NATO military exercise Steadfast Dart 2025 in Romania. This was reported on Saturday, January 18, by the news publication České noviny, citing data from the Czech General Staff.

According to its data, about 300 servicemen on 100 units of equipment will cross the territory of the country. It is noted that the movements will take place at night or in the early morning hours and will be completed by January 26. The convoys will arrive from Germany through the border crossing.

"During the crossing through the Czech Republic, British soldiers will rest in Rancirzow, where they will be accommodated in tents, there they will refuel and will be able to repair their equipment," the publication specified.

All movements of the British military personnel will be accompanied and ensured by military police officers in cooperation with the Czech police.

Earlier, on January 13, it became known that during the NATO exercise Steadfast Dart 2025, starting today at seven firing ranges in Romania, will be practiced deployment of new reaction forces. Their task is to quickly strengthen the eastern flank of the alliance. The maneuvers will involve about 10 thousand military from nine NATO member countries, 17 naval assets, more than 20 aircraft and 1.5 thousand units of equipment.

Before that, January 3, it was reported that the UK will send 2.6 thousand troops and 730 pieces of equipment to the NATO exercise Steadfast Dart, which will be held from January to February in Bulgaria and Romania. It was noted that the UK's 1st Division would be in command of all ground forces participating in the maneuvers.
