Bogomaz reported the destruction of the AFU UAV in the Bryansk region

Air defense forces have destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the territory of the Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 18.

"An enemy UAV of aircraft type was detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry over the Bryansk region," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, there are no casualties or damage as a result of the attack. Operational and emergency services are working on the site.

Earlier in the day Bogomaz said that air defense forces destroyed two more drones over the territory of the Bryansk region. He specified that there were no casualties and damage as a result of the attack, emergency services are working on the site.

Before that, on January 18, Bogomaz said that the air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the region. Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the elimination of seven UAVs.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
