Figure skater Petrosyan won the Russian Jumping Championship
Russian figure skater Adelia Petrosyan has won the Russian Jumping Championship, which is being held in St. Petersburg on January 18 and 19.
The 17-year-old pupil of Eteri Tutberidze scored 119.38 points. The second place went to Sofya Muravyeva (111.81), who was mentored by Evgeny Plushenko, and the third place went to Anna Frolova (110.54), who studies with Evgeny Rukavitsyn.
On Sunday, January 19, the team event of the Russian Jumping Championships will be held. In addition to the five main rounds, new formats have been announced for the team finals: the championship round and team shuttles.
Earlier, on December 21 last year, Petrosyan became a two-time winner of the Russian Figure Skating Championship. She scored a total of 262.92 points, showing the best result in both the short program and free skating in single skating.
