On January 18, American entrepreneur Ilon Musk published a slogan previously proclaimed by Alice Weidel, a candidate for Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany from the Alternative for Germany (AdG) party.

"Let's make Europe great again!" - Musk wrote on his social media page X (formerly Twitter).

Earlier, Weidel published a post on X (former Twitter) with this slogan.

Before that, on January 6, Alexei Pushkov, head of the Sovfed Commission on Information Policy, called the joint live stream of Musk and Weidel a powerful blow to politicians in Germany. On the same day, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the American billionaire supports the "new reactionary international" and directly interferes in the elections in Germany.

Later, on January 10, it was reported that the Bundestag launched a probe into Musk's possible illegal influence on the upcoming German parliamentary elections. It was noted that his conversation with Weidel on an online platform in the network X caused concern in the Bundestag.

In December 2024, Musk published a post with an insult to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. At the same time, the American entrepreneur expressed confidence in the victory of the AdG in future parliamentary elections.
