- In Volgograd, KNS-5 returned to normal operation after the discharge of oil products
In Volgograd, the fifth sewage pumping station (KNS-5) of the organization LLC "Concessions of Water Supply" in Krasnoarmeysky district returned to normal operation mode after the illegal discharge of oil products. This was reported on January 18 in the press service of the joint channel of resource supplying companies LLC "Water Supply Concessions" and LLC "Heat Supply Concessions".
"With the help of stationary pumps, oil products that got into the sewage were promptly pumped to the treatment facilities," - indicated in the Telegram-channel.
According to the latest data, employees of the organization together with representatives of the authorities are inspecting the wells to determine the place of illegal discharge.
Measurements of gassiness showed that the indicators are normal.
Earlier on the same day, an illegal discharge of a large volume of petroleum products was recorded at KNS-5. The spillage was avoided. There was no threat to the employees of the enterprise and city residents.
Earlier, on March 19, 2024, it became known that according to the court decision, the company in Yakutia will pay almost 8 million rubles for the illegal discharge of oil products, which led to the pollution of the Ankudinka River in the Srednekolymsky District.
