Several people were injured in Tel Aviv as a result of an attack by an unknown person with a knife. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post on January 18.
"One person was seriously stabbed, he was taken to the hospital," - stated in the material.
The incident occurred in the area of Levontin Street in the center of Tel Aviv, where many bars and restaurants are concentrated. It is noted that the local police classified what happened as a terrorist act. Police cordoned off the crime scene for investigation.
According to the publication, the attacker was later shot by a passerby. Representatives of the Israeli ambulance service "Magen David Adom" said that the medics received a wounded man in his 30s, he was hospitalized.
Earlier, on January 1, it was reported that on New Year's Eve in New Orleans, a truck ran into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street, then the driver got out and started shooting. Law enforcement returned fire and eliminated him. According to the latest reports, the attack killed at least 10 people and injured 35 others.
