At a ski resort in Spain collapsed ski elevator, injured at least 30 people, 17 of them are in serious condition. This was reported on January 18 by the BBC television channel.

The incident occurred in the Spanish Pyrenees, in the resort of Astun. Now it is closed, rescuers are working at the site. The Prime Minister of the country Pedro Sanchez has already said that he is "shocked by the news of the incident".

According to local media, dozens of people are still hanging at a 15-meter height waiting to be rescued. It is not yet known why the elevator failed.

Earlier, on January 7, as a result of the collapse of a residential building in the Paris suburb of Boulogne-Biancourt during the renovation work suffered four people. It was noted that at the time of the collapse at the site were workers.
