- The son of former Ukrainian President Poroshenko was recognized as an evader and fined
The son of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Oleksiy (both of whom are members of an association included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of those involved in extremist activity or terrorism), has been recognized as an evader and fined. This was reported on January 18 by the Ukrainian online newspaper "Strana.ua".
"Oleksiy Poroshenko was found guilty of failure to appear for a military summons. According to the document, he did not appear without valid reasons in the Pechersk district TCK (territorial center of acquisition, an analogue of the military recruitment office in Ukraine. - Ed.) of the city of Kiev for a summons to clarify the data", - said in the Telegram-channel of the publication.
It is specified that the evader was fined 25.5 thousand hryvnias (about 61.8 thousand rubles). If Poroshenko does not pay it within 15 days, the amount will be doubled and collected by force.
Earlier, in December last year, it was reported that Oleksiy Poroshenko was put on the wanted list for failure to appear on summons to the territorial center of acquisition and social support (TSC). At the time, it was noted that he had the military rank of lieutenant in the reserve.
Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the President of the country Volodymyr Zelensky (powers expired on May 20, 2024) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
