Dmitry Bobylev was appointed as the new head of GosNII GA from January 20

Dmitry Bobylev has been appointed the new head of the State Research Institute of Civil Aviation (GosNII GA, subordinate to Rosaviatsia) as of January 20. "Izvestia" familiarized with the order of his appointment.

He will head GosNII GA according to the results of the competition held to fill this position instead of Igor Chalik, who has held this post since December 2023. Izvestia sources confirmed his resignation from January 20. Previously, since July 2011, Chalik held the position of deputy general director - flight director of Aeroflot, and from January 18, 2021 - deputy head of the Ministry of Transport.

Dmitry Bobylev worked as the head of another subordinate of Rosaviatsia FSUE "State Corporation for Air Traffic Organization". He left this position at his own request in early August last year.
