Three trucks collided and caught fire in the Irkutsk region
In the Irkutsk region, three heavy trucks collided on the R-255 "Siberia" highway, after which they burst into flames. As a result of the accident there are dead. This was reported by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region on January 18.
According to the agency, the incident occurred today at about 15:00 (local time, 10:00 Moscow time) near the village of Alzamai in Nizhneudinsk district.
Traffic on the section of the highway where the accident occurred was blocked. Firefighters and other emergency services are working at the scene.
On the fact of the accident is being checked.
Before that, on January 11, it was reported about the death of a woman in an accident involving a truck on the highway "Narva" in the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region. It was established that a 39-year-old woman failed to cope with the control on the turn, her car went into the oncoming traffic and collided with a truck.
