Morgenstern's estate has been seized.
The property of Russian rapper Alisher Morgenstern (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) has been seized. This was reported by the Moscow Prosecutor's Office in its Telegram channel on January 18.
"By court order Morgenstern is prohibited to perform any legal actions with a land plot and a residential structure in Istrinsky district of Moscow region, as well as a non-residential building and 3 non-residential premises," - stated in the message.
It is noted that the Moscow prosecutor's office is monitoring the investigation against the musician.
January 17, the lawyer of the musician Morgenstern Sergei Zhorin told "Izvestia" that the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has charged the Russian rapper with violating the law on foreign agents.
Earlier, on September 8, 2024, it was reported that Morgenstern was prosecuted under part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Evasion of duties provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents"). On October 11, the Moscow City Court found the fine imposed on the musician in this case lawful.
The Russian Ministry of Justice entered the artist in the register of foreign agents on May 6, 2022. Morgenstern posted political materials aimed at "forming a negative public opinion on the conduct of politics in Russia".
