As a result of a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Tula Region, a fuel and lubricants tank caught fire at one of the enterprises in the region. This was reported by the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev on January 18.

"Tonight the Tula region was attacked by the Kiev regime. The on-duty air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry are doing combat work. There was a fire of a fuel and lubricant tank at one of the enterprises of the region. Fire crews are working," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, there are no casualties. The region remains in danger mode of attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The situation is under control.

Earlier, on January 17, Governor of Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha said that due to the attack of UAVs there was a fire at an industrial enterprise in the region. He specified that a task force is working at the scene. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
