The Central Bank has registered a new payment system "Pavee"


A new payment system "Pavey" has been added to the register of the Central Bank of Russia. This was reported on January 17 on the website of the regulator.
"The Bank of Russia on January 16 decided to register limited liability company Pavey as an operator of the payment system Pavey," the published list says.
The payment system operator was registered in Vladivostok in February 2024, the company's authorized capital amounted to 21.2 million rubles. According to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Roman Virich became the sole beneficiary, Yaroslav Nastachenko became the general director.
Pavee system became the first payment system registered in 2025.
In November 2024, it became known that the cards of the payment system "Mir" from January will work in Iran. The head of the Central Bank of Iran Mohammad Reza Farzin also noted that "another stage", which will come in March 2025, involves the possibility of using Russian cards when paying with bank terminals at retail outlets.
