One person was killed in a gas explosion in an apartment building in Bogorodsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on January 17.
Later, the Russian Emergencies Ministry confirmed this information. In addition, the agency reported that 16 people were evacuated from the building, seven more were rescued.
"Firefighters of the Russian Emergencies Ministry localized the fire in the Nizhny Novgorod region on 250 "squares"," - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel.
