The meeting with CSKA Moscow ended with a score of 4-0. This is the fifth defeat of the capital club in the coming year.
Omichi forward Nail Yakupov scored a goal as early as the third minute of the first period. He also brought the club its second point in the 52nd minute of the game.
Avangard's American forward Reid Boucher also scored a double. His pucks hit the goal in the 18th and 44th minutes.
