- A fighter who defended a dugout 21 days alone told about his desire to return to the front line
Magomed Abdullayev, a fighter of the assault company of the 136th brigade of the Russian Armed Forces (AF), a native of Dagestan, with the call sign Judge, who held the defense alone for 21 days, told Izvestia that he wants to return to the front line after treatment.
"We are going to the Moscow region to continue treatment. I got a little frostbite on my toes, ankles, and I got psoriasis. These are the little things. I want to recover quickly, get cured and get back on track," he said.
Abdullayev also noted the professionalism of his commander and combatant.
"I had not a gram of fear, not a gram of doubt with such commanders that something will go wrong. A very great desire to avenge for my brothers who left, who went with me. The four of us went in, I came out alone alive," recalls the fighter.
Earlier in the day, Izvestia published the story of Magomed Abdullayev, a fighter of the Russian Armed Forces (AF), a native of Dagestan, who defended a dugout with a fellow soldier for eight days and then held that position alone for another 21 days. The footage was shot two hours before the New Year: the soldier congratulated his family and friends, not knowing whether he would be able to contact them next time. Nevertheless, the soldier did not lose his presence of mind and held firm, despite the fact that all supplies had run out.
