Accused of kidnapping a man in the east of Moscow detained in Moscow

Law enforcement officers have detained those accused of kidnapping a man in the east of Moscow. This was reported on January 17 by the press service of the capital's main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The incident occurred on January 9. It is established that not far from the shopping center on Montazhnaya Street the accused approached a man they knew and called to get into the car to allegedly talk. After they drove the car away towards the region and began to threaten the victim with a knife and a gun, then taking 77 thousand rubles from him.

The defendants took the man to a dacha plot and demanded 1 million rubles for his release. As a result, the victim was released after the transfer of 300 thousand rubles.

"In the course of well-coordinated work of investigators of the capital IC and operative police officers two defendants were detained. With them conducted investigative actions, they are charged," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the GSU of the IC of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under paragraphs "a", "c", "d", "h" of part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping"), part 2 of article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery"), paragraphs "a", "c", "d" of part 2 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Extortion").

Earlier, on January 13, a source of "Izvestia" reported that two men were kidnapped in Moscow in order to extort a large sum of money. It is specified that unknown persons demanded 190 thousand rubles from the victims, beat them and threatened to kill them. Three citizens were detained on this fact.
